I have chosen a small box painted red with a small handle. This box is frail, delicate, covered in red oil paint. Not to be touched.
This is my heart.
The items used are tape, cardboard, and crimson oil paint.
Cardboard, a biodegradable substance, to represent my life, how it is going to one day disintegrate into the Earth.
Tape to show the binding of emotions. Keeping them in check, locked away inside. Hiding them within the box to keep it closed and sealed away.
Crimson paint to show passion and anger. An oil paint to show the ones who have touched my heart are still caught red handed and though the dye may come off of hands with washing it is still difficult and stains the clothes.
This box is my heart and though it had a handle to be carried off by someone, they will be forever stained by it.
